New Patients
Nothing makes us happier than watching a child grow and thrive! We currently accept new patients from birth to age 16 years. Established patients can be seen until 18 years of age.
Welcome to Shoreline Pediatrics
We’re so glad you’re here! As a female-owned pediatric practice, we are proud to offer more than just healthcare—we offer a community. From your baby’s first checkup to your teen’s growing independence, our team is here to support, guide, and partner with you every step of the way.
Our approach to care is rooted in compassion, respect, and connection. We take the time to listen, to get to know your family, and to ensure that each visit is personalized, comfortable, and informative. Thank you for considering us to be part of your child’s care team.
Are We A Good Fit?
Choosing a pediatrician for your child is an important decision. It is crucial that your pediatrician’s philosophy on health and wellness aligns closely with that of your family. If you have not done so already, please review our mission and values and the details below to make sure that we are the best fit for you and your family.
Relationships Built on Trust
We believe that a child’s health journey is best traveled together—with trust, open communication, and shared goals. We look forward to building a lasting relationship with you and watching your child grow and thrive.
Welcoming Environment
We want our office to be a safe place for your family and as such we do not tolerate discrimination of any kind. Families come in many varieties and we support those families.
We Are a Vaccinating Practice
Shoreline Pediatrics requires that all of our patients are immunized according to the current vaccine schedule recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the CDC. All potential new patients must be up to date, or willing to get caught up with their vaccines. We do not accept new families that do not vaccinate their children. Please do not hesitate to contact our office with questions.
We Accept Most Insurance
In order to be as accessible as possible to the families in our community, we accept most major insurance plans, including Priority Health and Meridian Medicaid. We do not accept United Health Care.
If you have any questions about the plans we accept, please call our office.
Before Your First Visit
Please call our office to schedule an appointment, then download and complete these New Patient Registration forms. To help expedite your child’s first visit, please provide the following information when you arrive for your appointment:
- Insurance card
- Picture ID
- Complete immunization records
- Medical records from your previous pediatrician
Are You Expecting?
Congratulations on your new baby! We know this can be a very busy time for new parents as the family adjusts to having a new infant in the home.
Prenatal Visit
We encourage parents-to-be to call our office for a prenatal appointment. This is a great way to get acquainted with our office and our doctors, and we will answer any questions that you have about our practice or your new child.
Insurance
Please contact your insurance carrier to add your baby to your insurance policy ASAP.
- Most policies require the newborn to be added by one month of age in order for all expenses to be paid from the date of baby’s birth.
- Failure to do so may result in a personal balance that is the financial responsibility of the parent.
- It can take up to 4 weeks to add the baby to the policy. Baby is considered to be under mother’s insurance and charged the designated co-pay from the date of first visit until their insurance is active.
Please contact the office as soon as the baby’s insurance is active so we can make the necessary changes to the account and maximize reimbursement from time of birth.
Upon Arrival
When your baby is born, simply tell your obstetrician and the hospital staff that you have chosen Shoreline Pediatrics as your child’s pediatrician. Upon discharge, please contact our office about scheduling your baby’s first visit to our office.
